Reporting a problem

If a calculator gives a figure that looks wrong, copy the page link from the result (it includes your inputs) and tell us what you expected. That lets us see exactly what you saw.

We can’t give advice on individual building projects. For that, talk to a local builder, structural engineer or your council’s building control team.
